Nutmeg oil
Tapaktuan, South Aceh. 1,500–2,000 kg per month, minimum order 50 kg. Sample and lot report on request.
Spice oils from Sumatra, sold lot by lot
We are a trading house in Medan. We buy nutmeg oil from distillers we know on Aceh's south-west coast and sell it to manufacturers, one verified lot at a time. You see the lab report before you pay for the lot.
How an order works
End use, monthly volume, and any limits you work to. We reply within one working day, Medan time (UTC+7).
The sample comes from a real lot, with the laboratory GC-MS report for that same lot.
Volume, price, packing and lead time, stated for this order. If we cannot supply it, we say so at this step.
The oil you receive is the lot the sample was drawn from. We keep a retained sample of every lot we ship.
The product
Essential oil of nutmeg, distilled in South Aceh and sold in bulk to flavour, fragrance and personal care manufacturers.
We do not publish a single set of numbers for all our oil, because oil from small stills varies from lot to lot. What we publish is the report for the lot you are buying.
Many flavour and fragrance buyers set limits on myristicin, safrole and methyl eugenol. Each report shows them, so you can check the lot against your own limits.
The product
Essential oil of patchouli, from a South Aceh network and sold in bulk to flavour, fragrance and personal care manufacturers.
The figures on the right are the certificate of analysis for the lot that sets our current supply. As with nutmeg, we publish the report for the lot you are buying rather than a single promised number, since oil from small stills varies lot to lot.
Lab results
An independent laboratory analysed these samples by GC-MS on 9 October 2026 (report dated 12 October 2026). The figures show what is in each oil, as a share of the measured peaks. They are not yet a certificate of analysis: the signed report, with the physical tests against ISO 3215 and the SNI standard, is still to come. Ask us for the full chromatograms.

Laboratory sample numbers: Source A 003/MP/26, Source B 004/MP/26. Compound names are as matched by the laboratory's library software.
The two oils are close on almost every component. The difference that matters is safrole: Source A has about half as much as Source B, and slightly more myristicin. If your product has a safrole limit, start with Source A. Tell us which source you want when you order, and your lot comes from that source only.

Origin
Tapaktuan · approx. 3.26° N, 97.18° E · 9 to 10 hours by road from Medan
Tapaktuan sits on the south-west coast of Aceh, nine to ten hours by road from Medan. Behind the town the hills rise toward the Leuser Ecosystem, more than 2.6 million hectares of forest and the last place on earth where the Sumatran elephant, rhino, tiger and orangutan are still found in one area. Between the sea and that forest, families have grown nutmeg for generations. It is one of the main sources of income here.
The gardens have had hard years. Since 2001, stem borer and root fungus have taken many of the trees, and families living this close to the forest have few other ways to earn. We believe a fair market for nutmeg helps keep these hillsides under trees.
Hamparan Mandiri has been working with a local NGO to help nutmeg farmers here reach a wider market. That is our part of the work: bringing the oil to buyers the district could not reach on its own.
The oil is made the way it has long been made here. The nutmeg kernel goes into the still in one charge, over a wood fire, at four stills owned by four local producers. We sell it as it comes from those stills, not blended with oil from other origins and with nothing added. Every lot is tested by GC-MS, so you can read its purity on a report, and we tell you which stills supplied your lot.
Researchers have proposed a geographical indication for Tapaktuan and Blangpidie nutmeg. As far as we know it is not registered, so we state the place of origin and do not use a protected name.
From the field

Supply
1,500–2,000 kgper month · nutmeg oil · confirmed in writing for each order
This is the volume the distillers in our Tapaktuan network tell us they can supply each month. We check it again for every order, and we put the confirmed volume and lead time in writing before you commit.
South Aceh's nutmeg gardens were hit by stem borer and root fungus from 2001. Reported output fell from 4,937 tonnes a year to about 320 tonnes, and the gardens are still recovering. A seller who promises unlimited Aceh nutmeg oil is guessing. We quote what we can verify.

Nature
Nutmeg is a tree crop. The trees stand for decades and the hillsides stay under canopy. That is a good starting point, and it is not the same as proof. These are the things we commit to, and how you can hold us to each one.
We ask every supplier which villages their nutmeg comes from. We do not buy oil made from nutmeg grown on newly cleared forest land.
How to checkAsk us for the village list for your lot.
Small stills in South Aceh are fired with wood. We record where each still gets its fuel, and we tell you. We do not describe our oil as low carbon.
How to checkAsk us for the fuel record of the stills behind your lot.
Farmers in South Aceh have answered the die-off with their own methods, including grafting nutmeg onto wild rootstock. As our volumes grow we plan to support replanting, and we will report only what we have actually done.
How to checkAsk us what we have done so far. Today the answer is short.
We hold no organic, halal or sustainability certificate today, and no third party has audited these commitments. If your market requires a certificate, tell us and we will say plainly whether we can get there.
Range
We started with nutmeg oil because it is the supply we know best. Every product we add is sold the same way: named origin, sample and report first, volume confirmed in writing.

Who you are dealing with
Hamparan Mandiri is a young trading company. We are not the largest supplier you will find, and we do not pretend to be. What we offer is a direct line to one origin, a named person who answers, and paperwork you can verify.
